Just me or is Fredericton the worst place to drive ??

Ok so is it just me or is fredericton the worst place in the world to drive ? Making a short trip in town a few days ago made me realize fredericton has a serious problem of idiot drivers ..i feel like i (or anyone for that matter)need to reteach those who've drove for 10 , 20 , 30 , & 40 years the correct rules of the road ... hopefully this gets passed on to those who truly NEED to read it ..

Here are my top 5 rules that NEED to be retaught

1. Merge does NOT mean stop , the objective is for you to slow down and move gradually into oncoming traffic (as to not hold up traffic behind you )
2. If you are on a highway which a ramp is about to merge with ..slow down, speed up or move into the left lane to allow fellow drivers to merge properly
3. If you are operating a slow moving vehicle (i.e skooter or truck with trailer )or for some other reason wish to go under the speed limit , please watch for cars being held up behind you and be courteous enough to pull to the right to let them by
4. When turning left in a major intersection that has a turning signal ..a yellow arrow means slow to stop before oncoming traffic begins moving , it however does not mean speed up at the very point that oncoming cars have to jam on breaks and honk horns to avoid hitting you
5.The left lane is meant for passing , so if your not passing stay in the right lane so others can get by

Did i mention the sight of the dentist office makes me already wanna freak out ...lol

This morning we got up and ready for 5:00 to drive Josh to meet his drive to work , and just to start the day off well the radio announces that there's a heavy snowfall warning for tonight with ice pellets ..just what i wanted to hear ...(not quite) well at least we have no plans for the weekend so it's not too much of a big downer ..we arrive back home and drift back off to sleep ..till we are once again rudely woken up by the darn alarm clock ..I roll out of bed and get ready for the day ..we're out the door at about 10:00 and off to pick up josh's dad so that he could get a drive in town ..urrghh..(he's not my favorite person)anyway after driving all over town at his becon and call we finally get him dropped off at the New Frank's finer Diner job site across from the new walmart ....at about 11:05 ..we need to be at the dentist's office at 11:30(in new maryland) ..we make it there just on time and really it's a good thing because they were a bit behind so we had too wait in the waiting room for about 20mins . Summer was running all around throwing books from one corner to the other and yelling loud..which was fun lol ...so we get in to the office and she looks summer's teeth all over and tells me they look fine , gives us a new tooth brush and we're out the door 34 dollars and fifty cents poorer then when we came in ...oh well at least everything is alright ...we stop for lunch and then pick up a few groceries at sobeys ..and then out hanwell where the farther we go the more it's snowing , very depressing ...we made it home all safe and sound at about 2:15 and summer went right to bed , which is what i also should have done but instead i decided to read the paper and the flyers for an hour and a half .......ohhh the life of a stay at home mom ...always eventful ..lol

Visit to The Doctor's

So yesterday Summer had a visit at the doctors for her 12 month checkup and shots. She's been really cranky and in pain lately because of four emerging teeth (can't wait till they just come through) so we wanted to also make sure every thing was going alright with that ... They weighed her and she was 21 and a half pounds , which is only 1 and a half pound more then last time , although she grew 4 and a half inches in the three months which was so surprising to me ..they also measured her head circumference and at fist it appeared to have not grew , which is not normal so when measured again she got the same measurement as last time , and the nurse said that they don't keep measuring head circumference after 12 months but they will have to keep an eye on hers to make sure it's growing ..not sure what to think of that ..hopefully everything is alright ..Then of course comes the needles , I had to hold summer on my lap and keep her hands away from her legs , then she got all three and cryed as hard as she could ( not just her , of course I had tears running down my face too ..lol). After that we packed up our stuff and left ..thank god that's over with ...

A Non-Stop Weekend

....So everything I had planned for this weekend got turned upside down ...Saturday morning we were up and at em' early and were out of the house by 9:00 got in town and had to make a pit stop at walmart to drop off some cameras and buy some sandals (cause it was so nice out!) then we were supposed to go down to a sale for baby stuff but... mid way down to the sale we remember we forgot to stop at a friends to feed his dogs and forgot our cellphone ..so back out to harvey we go ..after completing those tasks we made it in to the sale at about 11:30 :( but I got a couple of nice outfits for summer and we picked up some muffins too eat for the afternoon ..We then received a call from joshs mom telling us that his brother was down from ontario just for the weekend and since we had to much to do sunday we decided to skip the playgroup and visit his brother for a bit ..then josh decides he wants to go to this car show in Moncton late afternoon and once again we're on the road to moncton ..lol so we went to the car show..stopped for some chinese buffet , then went to Costco to pick up some groceries , and went to visit joshs cousin and aunt at their house , needless to say we made it home at 1030 pm . Sunday morning was once again a rush to get out of the house, made it out the door at about 1130 picked up my aunt and drove out royal road to my cousins baby shower , Josh and summer dropped us off and they went for a drive to visit a few friends , the baby shower was quite nice and there was alot of good food (which was great because i still hadn't ate yet ), after the shower josh picked us up , we dropped Nancy off and made our way out to tracy for a bbq ..(yes more food ;)) ..left there at 8 pm and we were supposed to make it to a bday party for joshs aunt but summer was way to tired and cranky so we just went home ... got home at about 830 and feed summer , changed disper and put her in bed ... she was out like a light lol , I went and layed on the couch to watch extreme makeover and desperate housewives ...then off to bed ..phew ...

Busy weekend as always

well looks like it's about to be a busy weekend again ! I'm not even sure if i'm up for it but oh well , Friday we still have no plans but sure enough josh will find something we'll have to do ...Saturday there is a sale at 9:00 in the morning for baby stuff so i'm hoping to make it to that(but you never know) ,and if i'm up that early i might as well make a pit stop at the market to grab some lunch , then there is a playgroup at Renee's House in Oromocto at 1:00 , hopefully we don't get lost !and then after that i'll most likely just go home to see what josh has planned for the evening , Sunday i have too many things to go to and not enough time ...Cole's birthday is at 1:00 but Sarah's shower is supposed to be that day too but i haven't heard what time it is at so hopefully it's at a bit different time so that i can go to both ...and then Joshs aunt Sadie is having a birthday party in lincoln at 6 :00 so we'll most likely have to make a stop by that too ..Somewhere in this weekend i need to make it to a store so that i can get summer's birthday present & birthday decorations, wrapping for sarah's present , a card (and perhaps a gift) for Sadie, baby food for summer & possibly diapers, and most likely some groceries if we'd like to eat next week ..lol ....as you can see we'll be some pooped little ladies on Sunday night ...
